emos are people who are free and true to themselves and don't give a flying crap what people think about them! im sick of everyone thinking that all emos slit their rists when they don't and they think we are all depressed and screwed up but we're not! its a flipping outrage! People think I worship satain and that I wanna die which is so not true. Emos are individual and unique.

emo is a trend that used to be pretty popular and is now on its way out...to be replaced with the scene kid. not that there's anything wrong with an emo kid, apart from the whole... i wan to die, wist cutting attitude. most of them are pretty sweet people. they mainly like cute depressing mainstream bands. they can be quite shy and prefer not to be in a big group.

they wear drainpipe jeans or a tutu. they wear converse in any colour they fancy,band t-shirts or tops from criminal damage etc. with a black hoodie. often, they will have a few badges on their hoodie, a wristband or happy coloured bracelets. they may have black hair that they dye themselves, a fringe covering one eye. the hair will be about shoulder length if not a bit shorter, often with a headband in it.
overall, emo kids are cute, but be nice to them, get them out of the whole wrist cutting thing. =)

yea, so, coming from a true emo girl, heres my interpretation of what an emo girl is: bangs covering a single eye/side of her face,sometimes held back by a black or neon colored barrette, band merchandise (including band tees, band track jackets, band hoddies, band zip-up hoodies, band wrist bands, and any other type of band stuff), black rubber bracelets or rainbow rubber bracelets, thick-rimmed glasses occassionally horn-rimmed, thick black eyeliner, sometimes black or neon eye shadow, pale skin, jeans (tight pants or just regular jeans, sometimes ripped) messenger bag, or another kind of flimsy bag, listens to "little known" bands, or some mainstream bands, and complains about them being mainstream, looks sad most of the time, the majority of emo girls cut themselves, enjoys taking pictures of themselves looking away from the camera or looking just plain sad, and then photo-shops it to make it black and white and all contrasty, sometimes wears a scarf, fingerless gloves, and can be found mingling with emo boys or other emo girls.

NOT ALL EMO GIRLS CUT!!!!!!!!! So what if they cut its not like it's hurting you. May be gross to you and its not a problem. An emo girl is some one who is sad and is emo for A REASON! It's because we're depressed because some one made them like that. And their not f****ts,b****s,or j*****s. Just missunderstood. For who the are,yha they like spending their time with their friends. Because the UNDERSTAND THEM! Yha all emo's are diffren't because they don't want the world as fucked up as it is! It's good to be diffrent. I do admit some can be stuck up.But let me tell you something I'm emo and I'm not stuck up. And by the way the corect term is sence! PPL these days need to get out of their little wholes. Theres so much more to emo than cutting or crying or being depressed. We have hobbies we eat sleep. We have fun alot of fun,we like doing wild and crazy things! So that's the real def remeber it.

there are pretty much two types of emo girl, the stereotypical, depressed, wrist cutting, black hair emo girl, and the real emo girls, who are usually fun, very beautiful, actually aren't that depressed, and the only reason that they are called emo is because of the style of their hair, clothes etc...

an emo girl is not someone who covers half her face with her bangs nd crys 24/7,slits her wrists,or evn says shes emo. a true emo wears whatevr she wants, nd doesnt care what other ppl think about her. she knows how she feels about things she can be happy nd will show it, nd prolly listens to music that doesnt hav "die" "kill" or "sex" as evryother fuckin word. she prolly doesnt like being labeled as anything, espesially not goth. she knows who her friends are, nd she stick with them. she is a true individual that doesnt follow trends.

Emo girls are either emotional, wear 'emo' fashion or listen to 'emo' music (they can be described with more than one of those). They can be depressed quite often but are quite often nice and can be cheery. Emo girls usually dislike chavs and don't bother listen to their criticism. Sometimes emo girls cut themselves but most of them don't, people just assume they do... Emo girls won't try to label themelves or call themselves emo and people assume that because they are emo they won't be nice. Emo girls usually have the same fashion but try to style it to make it unique and creative.
